OLYMPIA, WA – The Thurston County Auditor's Elections Division has mailed ballots to registered voters in Thurston County for the February 12 Special Election. Tanglewilde Parks and Recreation District No. 1 and Yelm Community Schools each have a measure on the ballot. Voters will also receive a local voters' pamphlet in their ballot packet.
Any registered voter living in the Tanglewilde Parks and Recreation District No. 1 and Yelm Community Schools who has not received a ballot by Thursday, January 31 should contact the Thurston County Auditor's Elections Division at 360.786.5408 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit the Auditor's Office for a replacement ballot.
There are 10 ballot drop boxes open throughout Thurston County. A list of locations and addresses is included with the ballot and available online at ThurstonVotes.org. These boxes are open 24 hours-a-day and will close promptly at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12 (Election Day). Mailed ballots must be postmarked by February 12; voters should check mailboxes for pick-up times, as the pick-up time may be much earlier than 8 p.m. on Election Day.
