Narcotics Task Force

The Thurston County Narcotics Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional partnership between the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office, Washington State Patrol, Washington State Department of Community Corrections, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Homeland Security Investigations, US Marshal’s Service, and the Thurston County Prosecutor’s Office.

 

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Thurston County Narcotics Task Force is to impact and reduce criminal organizations, human traffickers and gangs operating, manufacturing, distributing, trafficking or transporting illegal drugs, guns and/or humans within or around the communities of Thurston County and the State of Washington.

 

GOALS

The goals of the Thurston County Narcotics Task Force are:

  • Dismantle and/or disrupt drug trafficking organizations in and around the communities of Thurston County and the State of Washington.
  • Work in concert with community members and organizations to create a safer environment for both law enforcement and the public we serve.
  • Dismantle and/or disrupt those individuals and criminal organizations who promote, solicit, and profit from human trafficking in Thurston County and the State of Washington.
