​OLYMPIA – On Wednesday, November 16th the Treasurer's Office mailed reminder postcards to property owners who still have 2022 property taxes outstanding as of 11/9/2022. Because payment is now past due the amount shown to the right of the 11 digit property number on the front of the postcard is the 2022 tax amount due, if paid by November 30, 2022.

Property taxes can be paid through the Thurston County Treasurer’s web site at https://www.thurstoncountywa.gov/treasurer. No fee is charged for the electronic check payment option on-line. Taxpayers can also pay their property taxes on-line with a major credit card for a 2.35% transaction fee or with a Visa Debit card for a flat fee of $3.95.

Payments can also be made at the Treasurer’s Office or dropped off at the courthouse parking lot secure drop box located at 2000 Lakeridge Drive SW, Building One, Olympia, 98502. For credit card or debit card payments made at our office the same fees apply. Our office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Payments made by mail must be postmarked by November 30, 2022 to avoid additional late charges. There is no grace period after the tax due date. In accordance with Washington State Law (RCW 84.56.020) interest is added monthly to the taxes due for any payments made after the due date.
