Notice of Pre-Election Tests

  • Accessibility Voting Unit Logic and Accuracy Testing: Ensures the accuracy of the Accessible Voting Units, testing will begin March 16th at 9:00 a.m. until finished. (WAC 434-335-520)
  • Logic and Accuracy Test: Demonstrates the accuracy of the tabulation equipment. The Logic and Accuracy Test for this election will be held on March 16that 1:00 p.m. (RCW 29A.12.130, WAC 434-335-280)

Notice of Post-Election Audits

  • Random Audit: Ensures the tabulation system is counting ballots accurately. An audit of randomly selected precincts will be done April 27th at 9:00 a.m. (RCW 29A.60.170, 185)
  • Risk Limiting Audit: Demonstrates the accuracy of the election results and will take place May 2nd at 9:00 a.m. (RCW 29A.60.185, WAC 434-261-116, WAC 434-261-117)

    • May 3rd at 12:30 p.m. - They will canvass ballots for the April 25, 2023 Special Election
    • May 5th at 1:30 p.m. - They will certify the April 25, 2023 Special Election
