How to Submit Public Comments

In-Person or Virtually: Those wishing to testify should appear in person or virtually and be heard. The Board of County Commissioners will accept comment at the Tuesday, October 31, hearing.

Written Comments: You can submit written or emailed comments if you cannot attend. Please submit your comments no later than 12 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

Background:

The hearing is to take public testimony on Comprehensive Plan Docket Item CPA-1, the City of Yelm and Thurston County Joint Plan. The proposed Joint Plan is based off the most recent Yelm Comprehensive Plan. This update revises the plan to read as a document serving the Urban Growth Area only and updates maps, data, and policies to match current conditions.
