Active construction is quickly approaching at Yelm Highway SE and Meridian Road SE. Pacific Civil Infrastructure will be on site with trucks and equipment starting as soon as next week. OLYMPIA – 2022 Property Tax notices will go out in the mail to Thurston County taxpayers on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Property tax amounts can now be viewed and paid through the Thurston County Treasurer's web site at: www.thurstoncountywa.gov/treasurer.

The Thurston County Auditor’s Office updated over 27,000 voter records in 2021 for nearly 200,000 registered voters. “Making sure the voter rolls are up-to-date is a top priority for our voter registration staff throughout the year,” said Mary Hall, Thurston County Auditor. “We work with our partners at the state and federal level every day to ensure our voter rolls are accurate.”

OLYMPIA – On January 25, 2022, in a 2-1 vote, the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) approved a one-tenth of one percent sales tax increase for affordable housing and related services to include the acquisition and construction of affordable housing and facilities.
