The Thurston County Auditor’s Office will host a Swearing-In ceremony for recently elected officials at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, at the Minnaert Center for the Arts on the SPSCC Campus. The ceremony will occur following certification of the 2025 General Election by the Thurston County Canvassing Board.

Effective November 17, 2025, in-person service hours will change: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The Thurston County Auditor’s Office officially opened a new, modern Ballot Processing Center (BPC). This state-of-the-art facility will ensure safe, secure, and transparent elections for the community. A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the end of years of planning and work. This effort created a permanent home for Thurston County Elections. 

Thurston County’s Board of County Commissioners will host three public hearings on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. to receive public testimony on a proposed Martin Way Rezone, a proposed Black Lake Quarry (Littlerock) Rezone, and proposed changes to the County's Permit Review Process Code.
