Logic and Accuracy Test for the Aug. 4 Primary Election
Public can observe ballot machine testing on July 22

OLYMPIA, WA – The Thurston County Auditor's Elections Division will conduct a "Logic and Accuracy" test on its ballot tabulation machines on Wednesday, July 22 at 2 p.m. for the August 4 primary election.

A "Logic and Accuracy" test, or "L&A," is a pre-election procedure that ensures voting equipment and ballots used during the upcoming election will properly collect votes and tabulate results.

Citizens are welcome and encouraged to observe all steps of the election process, including the L&A test, which takes place at the county's Ballot Processing Center located at 2905 29th Ave. SW, Suite E in Tumwater.
