Maintenance Work Will Interrupt Thurston County Internet I. T. Services

OLYMPIA – A planned network outage will shut down Thurston County’s web site and will also interrupt some other services this coming weekend.

Thurston County Central Services Information Technology (IT) is reconfiguring the main network room and Phase 2 of this major project is scheduled to start at 8am Saturday morning, February 27th.

Data network services including the Thurston County Internet site, email and other services will be down throughout county facilities. Telephone services will not be affected. Central Services IT will prioritize restoration starting with critical infrastructure, 24-7 systems. It is expected that critical systems and most other services will be restored by Saturday evening, 6pm. If necessary, IT will be back on Sunday, February 28th to complete the project.
