"Advanced Naturescaping" Class set for May 7


OLYMPIA - Stream Team and WSU Extension's Native Plant Salvage Project will offer a free Advanced Naturescaping for Water and Wildlife class on Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The class will feature detailed, hands-on information about how to incorporate beautiful native and other drought-tolerant plants into your landscape to attract amphibians, birds and butterflies and nurture a healthy environment. A morning class session will be followed by visits to three local private demonstration gardens that feature beautiful water and habitat friendly designs. Participants will learn how to transform their landscape while also saving time, money and resources!
