Planning and First Aid Featured at Faith Communities Workshop, April 26


Church Planning and Emergency First Aid will be discussed at the Faith Communities Disaster Preparedness Workshop on Monday, April 26 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Newbridge Community Church, Adult Education Room, at 812 Central Street SE in Olympia.

Ed Quarles, a disaster reservist with the state Department of Emergency Management, will discuss “How to Get your Church Planning Started.” South Bay Fire Chaplain Bill Terhune will give a presentation on Emergency/Disaster First Aid. The workshop also provides an opportunity for groups to participate in disaster planning, coordination and networking.
