Thurston County HazoHouse is Open Again
Regular Schedule Resumed

OLYMPIA - Thurston County's hazardous materials collection site at the Waste and Recovery Center on Hogum Bay Road is now reopened. HazoHouse was temporarily closed Friday out of caution, after an employee had a medical incident. The facility was reopened after inspections over the weekend.

HazoHouse offers a convenient way for residents to safely dispose of toxic household products that could otherwise harm family members, pets, wildlife or the environment.

HazoHouse is located at the Thurston County Waste and Recovery Center, 2418 Hogum Bay Road NE in Lacey.

HazoHouse is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday only, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is closed New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
