High School Transition and Resource Fair for Young Adults with Developmental Disabilities
OLYMPIA - Private, non-profit, and governmental organizations will come together for the annual Thurston County High School Transition and Resource Fair for parents and young adults with special needs.Tuesday, March 18, 2014
The Resource Fair will provide parents and young adults with information regarding a wide range of services available in our community. While the event is aimed at parents and young adults with developmental disabilities who will be graduating from high school within the next few years, any family with a child with special needs is welcome.
Representatives from 25 organizations will be at the Fair to present information about available resources and there will be two breakout sessions, "Planning for Transitions" and "School-to-Work Stories."
The Resource Fair will be held:
