OLYMPIA – The deadline is Friday, April 30th for Thurston County property owners to pay their 2021 first half property taxes.
Property taxes can be paid through the Thurston County Treasurer’s website at www.paydici.com/thurston-county-wa/search/new. No additional fee is charged for the electronic check payment option on-line. Taxpayers can also pay their property taxes on-line with a major credit card for a 2.35% transaction fee or with a Visa Debit card for a flat fee of $3.95.
Payments can also be made at the Treasurer’s Office or dropped in the secure drop box in the courthouse parking lot located at 2000 Lakeridge Drive SW, Building One, Olympia, 98502. For credit card or debit card payments made at our office the same fees apply. Our office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Payments made by mail must be postmarked by the due date. In accordance with Washington State law (RCW 84.56.020) penalties and interest is added to the taxes due for any payments made after the due date.
Property owners can also sign up for Paperless Property Tax Bills so they can receive future property tax bills electronically, saving paper and postage. For those who create an account it comes with the option to schedule your tax payment in advance of the due date and email payment reminders will be sent ahead of the due date.
