DUI, Drug Court
The Thurston County DUI /Drug Court Program is a court-supervised, comprehensive drug treatment program available to eligible non-violent drug and property felony offenders and adult DUI offenders whose crime is related to or caused by drug and/or alcohol addiction.
Family Intervention Nurse
The Family Intervention Nurse program is a free program for parents of infants in Thurston County. This program helps families who are in the postpartum period up to the child's first year of life. Parents in the program receive home visits by a nurse with specialized training.
Family Recovery Court
If you know a parent who has a case in the Child Dependency System where drug/alcohol use was the primary reason for removal of the children, Family Recovery Court may be an option.
Mental Health Court and Veterans Court
The Thurston County Mental Health and Veterans Courts are intensively supervised, comprehensive deferral programs designed to offer a therapeutic approach to individuals suffering from mental illness who are currently involved in the local criminal justice system.
Prosecuting Attorney's Office
The Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney's Office prosecutes misdemeanor and felony crimes throughout the county.
Public Defense
Thurston County Public Defense carries out the United States and Washington State Constitutional guarantee that all people accused of crimes who are unable to afford a lawyer will receive effective legal representation. Thurston County Public Defense also represents low-income youth accused of a crime, parents in dependency proceedings, and adults facing civil commitment.
Nurse Family Partnership
The Nurse-Family Partnership is a free program for pregnant individuals in Thurston, Lewis and Mason counties. This program helps families during pregnancy and for the first two (2) years for the child's life.
