Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is a free voluntary program that pairs you with a nurse with specialized training to support you and provide information during pregnancy and through your child’s second birthday.

Who can enroll in the program?

Any parent who is:

  • Pregnant at the time of enrollment with a child, single or married, living in Thurston, Lewis, or Mason County
    • Individuals can join as early in pregnancy as desired, however, they must join during pregnancy
  • Meets the eligibility requirements 
     

How much does the program cost?

This program is FREE to all eligible individuals
 

Your nurse will support you to:

  • Have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby
  • Become the best parent you can be
  • Learn and practice parenting skills to feel more confident, like breastfeeding/chestfeeding, nutrition, child development, and safe sleep
  • Get help finding healthcare, childcare, job training, and other support in your community
  • Continue your education, build job skills, or follow your dreams for the future
