​Thurston County applied for and was granted funding from the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, for the FY 2023 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program allocated to the County.

The Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division will conduct Logic & Accuracy tests ahead of the March 12, 2024, Presidential Primary Election. These tests demonstrate the accuracy of the accessible voting units and tabulation equipment. The Elections Division is looking for volunteers to serve as observers for the Logic & Accuracy tests.
