​Thurston County applied for and was granted funding from the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, for the FY 2023 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program allocated to the County.

Thurston County Elections will host a swearing-in ceremony for recently elected officials at 2p.m.on Wednesday, December 27 at South Puget Sound Community College’s Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts located at 2011 Mottman Rd SW, Olympia, WA 98512. 

The Thurston County Auditor’s Office intercepted an envelope matching the description of those sent to other county election offices containing suspicious white powder.
