The Thurston County Canvassing Board certified the machine recount of the Port of Olympia Commissioner, District No. 2 race for the November 4, 2025, General Election. After the machine recount, one vote originally recorded as a write-in changed to a vote for Bob Iyall.
Candidate Filing Week to Open for February 10, 2026 Drainage & Special Districts Election
Candidate filing will open on Monday, December 15 for residents of three Thurston County Drainage Districts and the Black Lake Special District. Candidates must own property in the district and be a registered voter in Washington State. Candidate filing will close at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 19.
