In-Person Services Are Not Available

Effective March 16, 2026 - Ex Parte services are suspended until further notice.

The Thurston County Clerk’s Office in-person customer service counters are closed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This change is due to prior and current budget reductions that the office has incurred. Public terminals are available in our lobbies for public document viewing from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.

If your case was delayed or you are unsatisfied with the service you've received, please fill out the complaint form below. A PDF version is available if you would prefer to write your response and file it at our office or scan and email it to us. Complaints will be sent to the Thurston County Board of County Commissioners. Your comments and concerns are important to us and will be heard.

Ex Parte services will be suspended effective March 16, 2026, until further notice. Lobby hours have been adjusted: doors open 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Thurston County Clerk’s Office today announced that its in-person customer service counters will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, effective January 20, 2026. Services remain available online.

Effective July 27, 2025 fees related to filing, obtaining copies and other Clerk's Office services will change. The new fee schedule will be posted on July 27, 2025. Please review to ensure the proper amount is paid for the service(s) you are requesting.
