Prosecuting Attorney

​The Thurston County Domestic Violence (DV) Team is composed of experienced prosecutors from the Prosecuting Attorney's Office, victim advocates, and dedicated support staff to provide a comprehensive, victim-supportive environment. Our DV Team is committed to assisting victims of domestic violence with navigating the criminal justice system and making sure offenders are held accountable for their actions.

Domestic violence victim advocates work with victims of domestic violence. All of the advocates work closely with the prosecutors to give victims the best possible assistance and representation.

Domestic violence is a pattern of controlling behavior that consists of physical, sexual and/or psychological assaults.

The Domestic Violence Team consists of four deputy prosecuting attorneys, three victim advocates, one paralegal, two legal assistants, and one courthouse facility dog.
