Thurston County District Court judges perform weddings at the courthouse Monday through Friday at 5:00 p.m. Weddings can also be held on weekends or at other venues. To schedule a wedding, please complete the form below or visit the courthouse Tuesday-Thursday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM.

NOTE: Weddings must be confirmed with marriage license and cash payment delivered to the courthouse at least two business days prior to the ceremony date. District Court cannot accommodate same-day or next-day wedding requests.

Please review the following before completing the ceremony request form:

• The wedding fee (CASH ONLY) and the marriage license must be delivered to the court at least two days prior to the ceremony. Walk-in hours for wedding payments are Tuesday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, or by appointment Monday and Friday.
• There is three-day waiting period before marriage licenses are valid for use. For more information on obtaining a marriage license, contact the Thurston County Auditor’s Office or call 360-786-5405.
• You must have two adult witnesses at your wedding. You may bring anyone over age 18, or the court can provide witnesses for courthouse weddings. See the Fee Schedule below for the cost of court-provided witnesses.
