Jeff Gadman's Bio
Jeff Gadman was elected Thurston County Treasurer in November 2017 after being appointed Thurston County Treasurer in February 2017 by unanimous vote of the Thurston County Commissioners.
Jeff has dedicated his entire life to public service, having served more than 30 years in the Thurston County Assessor’s Office, most recently as the Administrative Manager. He has worked in many aspects of the Assessor’s Office, including areas requiring close coordination with the Treasurer’s Office. These areas include property transactions, levy rates, state agency Payment in Lieu of Taxes, and many other tasks which involve both offices.
In addition, Jeff served as a Lacey City Councilmember from February 2011 to March 2017. During this time he was Lacey’s representative to the following intergovernmental committees: Intercity Transit (Chair), Joint Animal Services (Chair), Law and Justice (Vice Chair), LOTT (Alternate), Human Services Review Council, and the Health and Human Services Committee.
As the cash and investment manager for Thurston County, Jeff realizes it is imperative for you to have confidence the Treasurer’s Office is safeguarding the money you have worked hard for and you ultimately have to pay in property taxes to support the essential services you enjoy and expect on a daily basis.
Jeff is committed to ensuring he and his staff will serve all taxpayers in Thurston County with dignity, respect, and unbridled professionalism.
Jeff currently serves as a board member for Leadership Thurston County and is an active member of Gateway Rotary.
