Coming to the Family and Juvenile Court
COVID-19 updated 5/19/22    

Visitors to any Thurston County Superior courthouse facility are required to wear facial coverings upon entry to the building and until departure, including in all courtrooms.  Facial coverings must be properly worn, including to cover the mouth and nose. 


Below is a non-exhaustive list of actions at Thurston County Family and Juvenile Court to ensure that the Court addresses the health and well-being of court employees, litigants, attorneys, and the general public while performing its constitutional and statutory duties.

Thurston County Family and Juvenile Court will be operating from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.  Court Administration is open 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m., Monday- Friday.

Family and Juvenile Court is a department of Superior Court and hears juvenile offender matters as well as adoptions, family law, child dependency cases, civil domestic violence and other protection order cases, probate and guardianships.  Family & Juvenile Court also operates a juvenile detention facility.
