Below is a non-exhaustive list of actions at Thurston County Family and Juvenile Court to ensure that the Court addresses the health and well-being of court employees, litigants, attorneys, and the general public while performing its constitutional and statutory duties.

During this emergency, child support obligations remain in effect. If you are unable to pay child support, you should discuss your options with the Washington State Division of Child Support at (800) 442-5437.
Child Support and parenting plan obligations are separate and independent obligations. A parent may not withhold parenting time based on an allegation that the other parent has failed to pay child support.

Family and Juvenile Court is a department of Superior Court and hears juvenile offender matters as well as adoptions, family law, child dependency cases, civil domestic violence and other protection order cases, probate and guardianships. Family & Juvenile Court also operates a juvenile detention facility.
