Community Planning works with the County's elected officials and a resident advisory group, the Planning Commission, to prepare for the long-term: population growth, protecting natural resources, reducing urban sprawl, and complying with state and federal laws. The Comprehensive Plan and Development Code Docket are the main documents for this work and the plans, programs, and code amendments listed on the two pages below are part of these documents.
