Superior Court

Before entering a Final Parenting Plan, the Court must complete a JIS/JABS criminal history background check for each parent to determine whether placement and contact proposals are appropriate.

Attorney/Party should submit the request form to court administration a FULL 24 HOURS before they plan to bring the parenting plan in for ex parte signature.  If they show up at ex parte time without having done this, then the court will take the document and hold it until the next business day when the background check will be run that morning.

New Criminal History Background Check Request Form - Effective as of February 2, 2026

Information on Ex Parte Calendars
