The Thurston County Public Works Department recently received full accreditation by the American Public Works Association (APWA) for the fourth time.

Thurston County has launched an online Taxpayer Transparency Tool for taxpayers to see how their county property taxes are distributed across county offices and department.

Campfires, recreational fires, and charcoal briquettes are now allowed if used on, or surrounded by, non-combustible surfaces like concrete or a fire ring. The Fire Safety Burn Ban remains in effect until September 30, 2023.
